Johnathon W Unnecessary sequel that takes the franchise is a strange direction, but not as fun as the original. Zach Galligan remains fun in the lead role, though the rest of the cast doesn't add up. Anthony Hickox tries to return to the fun of the original but doesn't quite add up with the time travel angle. Overall, not a waste of time but not as fun as the first. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/13/23 Full Review Audience Member muy larga y aburrida, raya en el cliché y no es en el tono serio como la primera. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member What I like about this movie was the cheesy parts. What I didn't like was it wasn't much of a sequel. I wish they would have followed the same concept as the first one. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Alexander Godunov is an evil demon who makes a bunch of teens travel through time and space to different alternate dimensions where they must survive what are essentially different horror sub genres (silent horror films, zombies films, vampires & werewolf films, and medieval knights?). One black and white horror film sequence that includes a bit part for Bruce Campbell is pretty fun, but the rest of the film is rather lifeless. I suppose there are a few other bright points, such as the few minutes of a "Dawn of the Dead" homage or when one of the teen's father (John Carpenter regular George "Buck" Flowers) drinks from the same generic beer can that was in "Repo Man," which gives the film a few points, but there's not enough to really recommend it. The decent cast includes Zach Galligan, Martin Kemp, John Ireland, Jim Metzler, Patrick MacNee, David Carradine, Maxwell Caulfield, and even Drew Barrymore as "Vampire Victim #1." Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Totally lame follow up. There's not even a waxwork! And they just go into full camp/goofy territory. A couple kind of interesting parodies sprinkled throughout, like Alien and the Haunting, but once they get stuck in Midevil times it's a total bore. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Still cheesy and intriguing at once, this one differs from horror and into black comedy, sacrificing what could have been scary ideas.
