Audience Member I want to give this movie a higher rating with all my heart, all my being. It's probably the most beautiful-looking movie I've ever seen. The animation is progressive and at the same time, a throwback to early CG. As a vintage CG animation fan, I had to see this movie, and it didn't disappoint with its breath-taking and unorthodox visuals. This film could have been a masterpiece; unfortunately the story's an afterthought and the writing is downright awful. Characters that I could have cared about a lot more are limited by some pretty juvenile lines. But, while an ordinary movie would become crap due to these problems, this movie gets dragged down to being still pretty good and worth a watch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member A great audio/visual experiment. M Dot Strange's first epic picture requires a little patience as it tends to drag at some points, but overall it's a great first effort and worth watching! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member It's true, MDot made some obviously experimental choices when he made We Are The Strange. But it's still a haunting wonder to behold. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Bizarre & tedious computer animation, hard to get into, characters flat. A must see for all lovers of animation tho. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A visually psychedelic phantasmagoria that gets incredibly exhausting. I admire the complex artistry at work, but the tedious storyline, characters, and dialogue donâ??t exactly sing to me for its 90 minute run time. Itâ??s weird alright, but setting it in the world of a video game kinda limits its scope and strips away some of the self-professed strangeness for me. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member will go down as one the most inventive most psychoticoticly (who cares about spelling righ?) original movies since Eraserhead......SON, I AM PROUDEST Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
