Audience Member I am so proud to have this film out in the world. Making it was a five year journey meeting and interviewing people who in aggregate give one hope and inspiration about the state of humanity today. There is a lot of negative news, outrage and echo chamber politics these days. This film is something different. It seeks to tell the story of that which unites us, our desire for a good and happy life, and our capacity to create and give beyond our wildest imaginings. If you are fed up with life and with people right now, this film will open the door to a movement of people who are dedicating their lives to overcoming our collective problems and rising up to a new future for people. Their views, politics and interests vary widely but their care love and concern for the future of humanity and the planet unite them (us) in our drive to leave this world better than we found it and be good ancestors to our descendants. Find the time to watch this film with others and discuss what you see, what new possibilities you can consider and how you too might join a movement with no leaders, no flag, no insiders, whose goal is to continue the beautiful game of being human. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member 🙌 Wow!! 'We Rise Up' left me asking myself some pretty big questions -- about how I actually show up not just "in" my life but FOR my life. It left me reflecting on the impact that my choices are actually having each and every day...in my own private little bubble, on my family, within my work and community. And how every single one of those choices ripple out into the world. What a powerful reminder that just one life (my life!), plus the series of tiny consistent daily choices that I get to make each day, have the capacity to make an exponential difference in our world. This film was such an awesome wake up call that my unique skills, strengths, God-given gifts, perspectives and voice are not only valid but necessary -- today, more than ever. Thanks for lighting a fire under my butt...and in my heart! 🔥🍑❤️‍🔥🥰 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I have watched this movie several times already and it makes me emotional with inspiration, wonder, excitement not for what I can do but for what WE can do together to make our world a more powerful, connected, and safe place to live for me and for the future generations of my family and my friends. Sometimes I am caught up in the story that I can't make a difference because whatever I would do is "too small" in the big world around us and this movie teaches and reminds me that we each have the ability to make micro changes every day to improve our community. Thank you for the movie and for the inspiration. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member We Rise Up has had a profound effect on my life that keeps unfolding. In these crazy time We Rise Up is refreshing and hopeful. I love feel good movies and the happy ending to We Rise Up actually feels real. Just watching it is changing my life, how I think about my reason for being alive, and changing my actions. This movie feels like a love letter to humanity. It's time for us to all Rise Up. See it, share it, love it, live it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
