Audience Member It’s not Goodfellas, not the Equalizer, but if you’re looking for a solid, raw Mob revenge flick, you could certainly do worse. Admittedly, the gang member characters are extremely unlikable..but that only adds to the satisfaction level of the impressive (and I suspect off-putting to more squeamish reviewers) old-school gangland justice that befalls them. The bad guys are nasty little punks with no redeeming qualities. But you can't help rooting for the old school geezers who get the job done with a good measure of charm, especially Ian Ogilvy, with whom I was not previously familiar. The awful violence by the young gang of thugs reminded me of Clockwork Orange. Also of Putin's terrorist attack on Ukraine. The only effective response seems to be one of strength.
