Mike McCahill Guardian It's not quite as terrible as a Hangover sequel, but then very few things in life are. Rated: 2/5 Sep 7, 2015 Full Review Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express The jagged narrative and heavy-handed manner of delivering dialogue, much more risible and tasteless than the original, ruins it. Rated: 1.5/5 Sep 4, 2015 Full Review Rahul Desai CatchNews It's not funny that able-minded humans spend 150 minutes demonstrating to us what a LSD-fueled midlife crisis would look like. Feb 11, 2019 Full Review Shilpa Jamkhandikar Reuters Welcome Back is sporadically funny, one that ebbs and flows; but it just about passes the "guilty pleasure" test thanks to Kapoor and Patekar. Jun 27, 2017 Full Review Abhinav Purohit The National (UAE) Burdened with a convoluted plot and stale humour, it might well outstay its welcome in cinemas. Rated: 2/5 Sep 11, 2015 Full Review Saibal Chatterjee NDTV Nothing that this nonsensical action comedy unleashes, not even the in-form Anil Kapoor-Nana Patekar pair, can compensate for its absence of substance. yash b I still remember the first time I saw the first "Welcome" movie. I laughed nonstop and I enjoy watching it again and again. This sequel has almost none of the comedic energy of the first. I thought a few moments almost made me laugh but overall it is pretty humorless. Aside from the flat comedy, the story is also a mess and isn't engaging whatsoever. I felt the movie dragged and is a big let down considering how much silly fun the first movie is. I will probably have to re watch the first to get this bad movie out of my head. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Brainless but was still Funny Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Day: Friday Date: 18 Dec 2015 Time: 10.30 pm With: Maa, Azeem On: HDTV Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A badly made slapstick where things just don't hang together. It could be quite fun to make a movie where things are completely wanky and stupid but not one where people cannot even do over-the-top acting and where the movie struggles with the continuity. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Disappointing sequel to Welcome. Don't understand why John Abraham's voice was dubbed...so badly. Same with Shruti Hassan's voice. Nana Patekar had a much weaker role. Some of the songs were horrible. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Crappy movie plot with good jokes. If you just want a good laugh then this might be it but you will have to put your thinking hat somewhere else. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
