Azar T @RT75858864 12/29/2024 A powerful and eye-opening documentary that exposes how consuming animal products is directly linked to devastating health issues like heart disease, diabetes, and cancer, and is also promoted by industries that prioritize profit over public well-being. For anyone serious about their health and ending the horrifying cruelty to animals, this is a must-watch that leaves no doubt: go vegan. See more Katina K @RT13522993 12/26/2024 Sooo good research! I didn't expect to see so many interesting scientific researches and conclusions based on historical events and unadulterated facts. Everything they said is the same thing I see around me and what I also feel for myself. It's so simple - eat plants and you will thrive. See more Louise C @RT69763679 01/22/2024 A rather biased documentary. Comparison of eating one egg daily being equivalent to smoking five cigarettes a day, is an example of this. It does have a valid point to make about what we eat connecting directly with our health. Segments of the film were so disgusting (when reporting on hog farming) that I had to fast forward some parts. The movie is American based, with some factory farming so extreme, I'm sure my native New Zealand could never be that bad, due to our laws that protect animals. Still worth watching, to heighten awareness of the value of a plant-based eating regime. See more TJ S @RT39870272 01/14/2024 This film is a biased, opinion based project that uses cherry picked data to scare people into going Vegan. Yes, there's data that suggest a vegan diet is beneficial, however there are also studies and data that suggest how a balanced omnivore diet is better. If you're going to make a movie about health, show all aspects and not just one side. See more Jeff H @RT89890025 10/21/2023 Fantastic information, very well done! See more Dakota D @RT85335404 05/05/2023 I was hoping for some real insight, but instead it was a rehash of propaganda from vegans....again pushing their agenda. Facts are important but it doesn't work here either. Sure there were some studies presented, but studies can be presented to support anything so most are useless. What works is what works for the majority and through personal experience. I don't think there is just one size that fits all when it comes to food consumption - we are all different. I think we can all agree on one thing - the animal food industry needs reform and it always will as we evolve. However that isn't the issue...but I can tell you what the issue seems to be in the USA is FUNDING. Who is supporting what studies to get the propaganda that is what they would all have us believe as FACT. Anderson too it didn't seem to me approached this as a legit question and look for the facts....he did show who supports studies that seem to be aligning with agendas in all of the food groups profiled but then just take a look at Kip Anderson's own SPECIAL THANKS at the end of his film: True North Health Foundation. MISSION from their webpage: "Our Mission Since the Foundation's inception in 2011, our mission has been to expand evidence-based knowledge of how medically supervised, water-only fasting and an exclusively whole-plant-food diet impact human health, train clinicians in the use of these interventions, and publicly share our findings." Even one or more experts appearing in the film are from this organization.....Yes, not a smoking gun, but still influencing and supporting (financially?) this documentary of "facts." I'll give a hard pass on this factual film filled with the fluff of dreams. See more Read all reviews
