Basocally 2 friends travel cross country together in the protagonists estraged fathers ood cinvertible to find him. This film had a well written and well executed script. by its cast and director. . One of those sleepers where you give it a chance ...but will keep it playing. Recommended . In fact the plot is almost identical to a new release in 2025, Sacramento. Even the convertible the 2 friends travel in. See more tm11999 M @tm11999 11/16/2024 kinda pointless story, absent drunk criminal drug addled father leaves tommy a car with a sealed steel box in the trunk and an address in california. tommy is supposed to deliver the car and meet his father. the best friend tells him he wants to go on the adventure, then gets mad because tommy won't open the box because he wants to, then calls his over bearing dad to pay for a bus ticket home in a huff? some besty. long drawn out time filler scenes of driving. meets a girl who needs a ride, 2 a-holes give them trouble at the gas station and it goes nowhere. gets to california, drops the girl off and goes to his dads house and beats the car up with a bat while screaming at his father like a 12 year old girl. the next scene he's driving back to meet the girl, the end????????take a nap instead.
