What We Left Behind reunites the original DS9 cast, writers, filmmakers, and studio executives. It also explores a jaw-dropping storyline for season eight. A must see for fans and anyone who appreciates great science fiction. Go to Full Review

An honest, engaging, and surprisingly funny look back at one of modern television's greatest achievements. Go to Full Review

While the length and depth of detail may lose newcomers, What We Left Behind provides everything a fan of the show could want. Go to Full Review

If Trekkies ever needed reminding that their thoughtless and thought terminating rejection of the so-called black sheep of the Trek family was imbecilic then and, in the age of Star Trek: Discovery, indefensible now, this is the time. Go to Full Review

Despite blatantly targeting the fans that helped crowdsource it, the much loftier goal of contextualizing DS9 within the annals of sci-fi and television history is also met. Go to Full Review

George M @Milkyway May 23 A brilliant, well thought out look back at the best Star Trek Spin off. TNG, Voyager, Enterprise, the entire Kelvin worthlessverse and the new Kurtzman created trash heaps (mostly, Strange New Worlds has a few good episodes), DS9 had the best writing, stories, directing and YES War of any Star Treks. What the other shows mentioned, DS9 showed. War. Both sides of a conflict, showing there's good and bad on both sides. PTSD, loss of a limb, advanced the Ferengi. A single father who is a damn good father. Dax, who was seven other people in her lifetime and then 8. Worf coming aboard and learning not everyone is as lenient as Picard. Too bad they had Q, one of the worst characters ever created for star trek on it, but at least he got punched in the face by Sisko. Greatest anniversary episode: Trial's and Tribble-Ations, superb mirror universe episodes and a total laugh fest, Little Green Men. So that's what happened at Roswell? Simple the best. Unfortunately, SCIFI has greatly declined over the years. See more 04/02/2022 Big Trek fan..but didn't really follow DS9 after the second season. This documentary made me wish I had. it's also funny, comprehensive, and heartfelt in its own right. I wish there was a sequel...Until then, I might have to watch it again. DS9 and Trek fans will really enjoy this. See more 03/25/2021 Really great inside perspectives for fans of DS9. It was really great to get some more time with my favorite Captain and some of my top characters in Star Trek shows and movies! See more 03/02/2021 I was always a Trek fan since I was a kid. DS9 really spoke to me. The way the characters were developed really made it such a great show. It was good to see the gang together again. It was a really interesting way to get the audience involved in the documentary instead of just going over old stories. It really is a must see if you were a fan of the show. See more 01/03/2021 A must-see for DS9 fans. They didn't get must fanfare during their run and it's never too late to show some love. Possibly one of the best-underarted SciFi shows around. Seeing the cast together is great! See more Read all reviews
