DanTheMan 2 Wheels on Meals is an absolute laugh from start to finish, a buddy comedy that eventually turns into the classic fantasy tale of rescuing a damsel in a tower. But it's the final fight between Jackie and Benny which really slaps with the added benefit of an absolutely banging alternative funky soundtrack from Toshiyuki Kimori, who really deserves more recognition. Vintage Three Dragons cinema at its finest. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/18/23 Full Review Jimmy P The fight between Chan and Benny "The Jet" is worth watching the film for. The film is great but that fight scene is a showstopper. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review derek l Wheels on Meals certainly knows how to deliver its hybrid of martial arts action and entertainment courtesy of its cast of Jackie Chan, Yuen Biao and Sammo Hung who all shone. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a wholly engaging, silly yet serious when it needs to be foreign classic of a film. Brimming with naturally placed physical comedy throughout and really never appears to try too hard. As always Jackie Chan is excellent but his frequent counterparts during the 80's in Biao Yuen & Sammo Hung deserve immense credit as well with very solid fight sequences as well. The final fight between Jackie Chan & Benny The Jet is a masterpiece of a performance and could easily be regarded on of the best on screen Martial Artist fights in the history of cinema, truly incredible. Even then Jackie adds just a pinch of humor making him one of a kind in every sense of the word. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This martial arts action comedy is fun to watch. Fun from start to finish. With Jackie Chan paired with Sammo Hung you get highly visually enjoyable fight and action sequences, together with a slapstick style reminiscent of old American movies. The highlight of the film really is the last 30 minutes, which involves some of the most iconic fight scenes in martial arts movie history. Jackie Chan's standoff with Benny "the Jet" Urquidez, inter-spliced with Yuen Biao's battle with American Superstar kickboxer, Keith Vitali, are among the best action sequences of any martial movie ever filmed. This one is a classic and one of the best in Chan's long and distinguished career. This is dubbed, which is a detraction for my taste. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Landon J A positive movie that stays light, and funny throughout the story. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/30/20 Full Review Read all reviews
