Pietro Chiocca (Alberto Sordi) is a happily married plumbing equipment salesman. When he abruptly changes professions and becomes an arms dealer, his fortunes become plentiful, which allows his wife, Silvia (Silvia Monti), and their children to live the high life. Pietro certainly has moral qualms over selling weapons to corrupt and merciless African warlords, but the rewards outweigh the risks. When his family learns the true nature of his business, they must decide between wealth and ethics.

Synopsis Pietro Chiocca (Alberto Sordi) is a happily married plumbing equipment salesman.
