Netalee Lev S Watched it on an flight and it was everything I needed! Funny entertaining and heartwarming. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/24 Full Review Brandon W A wonderful surprise of a film. The trailer doesn't do it justice. Laugh out loud moments we can all relate too during the Covid shutdown craziness. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/14/23 Full Review 313 F I watched this film on Amazon and it was a great film. It is a Drama but has some funny moments which make our characters lovable. Very well acted and it takes me back to the 90's memory lane of how great movies were made: with a great story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/27/23 Full Review Katya V An interesting look at the quarantine and what that does to a family dynamic, with an added bonus of a slightly unhinged friend. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/16/23 Full Review Justin J Why are people still producing 'pandemic' era films in 2023? They weren't cute 2 years ago and they aren't cute today either. Anyhow. I have no idea why I kept watching 'Who Invited Charlie?'. I honestly kind of assumed it be something more along the lines of Bill Murray's 1991 'What About Bob?'. It is not. As far as entertainment, from my perspective there is none. Unless you are from Connecticut and 'summer' in the Hamptons, there is very little relatable content in this film. In conclusion, I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't an actual script for 'Who Invited Charlie?' and the actors just improvised all their lines. Its pretty much, that. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/13/23 Full Review Ricardo A Absolutely loved this movie! It's beautifully shot and the story is extremely unique. Definitely recommend! Stacey Yvonne Stacey Yvonne Creative Who Invited Charlie? feels like the pandemic version of Uncle Buck and that’s not a bad thing. Rated: 3/5 Mar 21, 2023 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Following a well-worn formula from start to finish, this comedy nonetheless gains traction not only from embracing COVID-era craziness, but also with its harmonious, lovable performances. Rated: 3/5 Feb 8, 2023 Full Review Josh Bell Crooked Marquee This amiable but listless comedy alternates between awkward humor and awkward sentiment. Rated: C Feb 8, 2023 Full Review Emily Bernard Collider Pally wastes no time in reminding us that he’s one of the wittiest and most dynamic comedic actors working, gifting us with a performance that’s both playful and shrouded in a shadow of sadness. Rated: B+ Feb 3, 2023 Full Review Mark Dujsik Mark Reviews Movies Something feels incomplete or slightly off in Who Invited Charlie?, an otherwise good-natured comedy... Rated: 2.5/4 Feb 3, 2023 Full Review Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment It has to find that balance between being overly broad and having something to say about how people are forced to come together due to a pandemic, but I was impressed with what director Xavier Manrique pulled out here.
