Deb G Nice light movie and it kept me watching unlike a lot of other movies I turn off half way through. Liked the premise for a Rom-Com. Not sure if it was in the writing or directing but I couldn't help but think it had a lot of unrealized potential. It seemed to be missing something to help really follow & understand the main character's emotional journey or thought process. I feel like it’s important to mention that I caught this on TV towards the end of a brutal ten day illness that found me stuck in a hotel room with only slightly more than basic cable for comfort. And during those two weekends the networks seemingly colluded to air nothing but J. Lo rom-coms, none of which I’d ever seen and all of which I found surprisingly watchable in my less than lucid, feverish state. And then came this one. I didn’t get 20 minutes in before I had to turn it off. Two dimensional characters would have been an improvement, to say the least.
