Audience Member Wonderful, gritty, sexy and salacious, a delight .... Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Too bad this noir was under-budgeted. It results in a visually boring film, but the performances by Beverly Michaels, Richard Egan, Percy Helton, and Evelyn Scott make this under-appreciated film worthwhile. Take this as a character profile of a morally corrupt woman or just a sleazy-little noir either way its good pulpy fun. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved it! OK, it's not "Double Indemnity" but it had high tension, unexpected twists, a wonderfully gritty ambiance, several vivid characters including a spectacular femme fatale, good acting, etc. Billie Nash, "floozy … scarlet woman … wicked … trashy … hard boiled mean tramp ...." Oh, come on, nobody's perfect!!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Give this little gem a chance! You need to be open minded.. expect an almost campy atmosphere however, it doesn't ruin the film. Just sit back and enjoy! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Big breakout role for Percy Helton. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Well acted and well rounded characters. Could have been a great movie but the ending is stupid. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
