The glimpses of ghoulish spectres, ghostly hands reaching out to grasp unsuspecting flesh, and the eerie sounds of disembodied voices: all of this is competently done, but none of this build-up is particularly scary.

Woof - a very low budget, b-rated ghost-hunter-esq style movie. Sheffer's acting is bad - like 70's porn comically bad. He doesn't so much act as sounds like you just hanging out with an high mileage, aging Hollywood b-grade at a bar. There's also a bunch of community theater actors, and some 20-somethings trying to get their foot in the Hollywood door. The plot's flashbacks are the best acting in the show; but some will have your rolling laughing it's so bad. Get good and stoned before watching it and it might be moderately interesting.

I thought this movie was a total waste of tomatoes. Kept thinking perhaps it was going to be like Rocky Horror Picture Show so continued to watch. That's my story and I stick by it!!

Gregory Lamberson does an amazing job directing this film. It is refreshing to see real cinematography, and character development to bring the tension of the story across instead of resorting to weird shaky camera motions to throw the viewer off kilter. The story is really good. The kids in the film were excellent at expressing fear and creepy! A few of the scenes had the hairs standing up on my arms! Really liked the extras. If you want a good story with excellent cinematography and to watch excellent actors who really know how to bring a character to life, then watch this movie. The movie is smooth until there is tension. Then when there is tension it is like you are in an electric fog in anxiety.
