justin t It looked a bit inconsistent. Some killings were shot pretty badly. The landscapes looked amazing and some of the movement was divine. Mostly quite subtle sound design and lovely with some great music and surround/bass well used. I would watch this again but it was not what I was expecting. It did not have suspense or supernatural. It was like Eden Lake (2008) but nowhere near as harrowing. The girl from Sugar Rush was not right for this at all. Otherwise the acting was good. Overall too inconsistent to recommend. A group of bad kids are sent to an island after another bad kid is bullied and killed himself. The hero was set up from the start. Gave away the ending too quickly as to who the killer was but there was a good slight twist to who he killer was. You weren't really rooting for the killer or the bad kids. Except for one. Who wasn't as bad as the others. Kebbell was the standout in this movie. Anyway, the one including the cast below was a pleasant surprise. Its kind of a B grade horror set in Ireland. A group of juvinile convicts are sent to an island near Ireland after a cell mate of theirs died slashing his wrists. They are accompanied by a supervisor (Sean Pertwee - Dog soldiers). Once on the island they realise they are not alone.....all else is spoiler. Watch this if you liked dog soldiers, but bare in mind this is not supernatural - so dont expect any werewolves.
