justin t It looked a bit inconsistent. Some killings were shot pretty badly. The landscapes looked amazing and some of the movement was divine. Mostly quite subtle sound design and lovely with some great music and surround/bass well used. I would watch this again but it was not what I was expecting. It did not have suspense or supernatural. It was like Eden Lake (2008) but nowhere near as harrowing. The girl from Sugar Rush was not right for this at all. Otherwise the acting was good. Overall too inconsistent to recommend. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review kevin c A group of angry violence-prone teenagers living in a juvenile detention centre are taken on a retreat to what is supposed to be an uninhabited island. When they begin getting picked off one by one after running into a threesome of women there camping. This was a pretty intense survival horror flick. Only problem I had with it is there wasn't really anyone to root for as the teens were mostly despicable. But overall an effective thriller. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member It was an enjoyable movie. A group of bad kids are sent to an island after another bad kid is bullied and killed himself. The hero was set up from the start. Gave away the ending too quickly as to who the killer was but there was a good slight twist to who he killer was. You weren't really rooting for the killer or the bad kids. Except for one. Who wasn't as bad as the others. Kebbell was the standout in this movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review luke d I have no idea why this film has such a low rating don't let that put you off if you loved dog soldiers you will love this film it's creepy twists and interactions between people in the film is tense it also has a lot of violence which I still don't know why it is a 15 still though watch this film I loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Gritty And Violent Brit Horror, Which See's 2 Groups Of Juvenile Delinquents Fight For Survival On A Supposed Uninhabited Island, When A Crazed Archer Is After Them. Stalk And Slash With A Bit Of A Difference, A Great Fast Paced Film, Where You Don't Know When The Killer Will Pop Up, It Keeps Its Viewers On Their Toes. Average Performces, Average Script, Great Atmosphere. Sadly That The Killer However Is Too Easy To Identify & Their Reasons Behind The Carnage. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Don't let that green splat fool you. This is a fantastic and original horror/slasher! I cringed (in a good way) through half the film.
