Audience Member I was intrigued by the old-school Harlequin alike storyline and got something quite much deeper than that. We have Steven Bauer (Scarface) starring as the wild-hearted and somewhat boyish orphan Frank who befriends the sweet girl in the orphanage Kay starred by Linda Florentino. They grow up and eventually become lovers. When they become teenagers they elope and get married but desperately needing money to take care of their unborn child Frank tries to rob a bank with a water gun in which he fails. He gets thrown to prison, meanwhile Kay gets adopted to another family and marries the guy next door. 8 years later Kay is married and have children, never expecting Frank to walk in to her life again, making her torn between Frank and the family she now has with her husband. This movie was not bad at all, i really enjoyed it and the theme. Frank is such a sad, broken and lonely hero...when he said that Kay is the only family he has ever had it totally broke my heart. He could not really let her go, a part of him even refused to. Just such a sad story. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
