todd a A clever kids time travel movie. One of Rankin/Bass best films but most unknown. A kid and a talking monkey chase a mad scientist through history to prevent him from altering events. A fun race with bright characters and settings. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Early Rankin-Bass feature of a time-traveling whiz kid zipping through history in order to foil the plans of Professor Von Rotten, who wants to take credit for every major achievement. While it's interesting to see elements that would be put to better use in later television specials, the story overstays its welcome by at least thirty minutes and consists primarily of dated humor and ethnic stereotypes.
