06/13/2020 Loved the windsurfing, the happy harmlessness and fun with Tom and Nicole acting well as usual. Enjoyable family movie. See more 09/15/2014 80's cheese at it's finest. Bad dialogue unnecessary nudity. But strangely entertaining comedy drama romance about a windsurfer. There are some glaring problems with the film. But it's strength lies in the humour. The performances were good, and the photography, particularly the wind surfing sequences, was well done. His father (Charles 'Bud' Tingwell) may fault him for not working at a regular job, but he can appreciate his son's remarkable abilities on the waves. Jade (Nicole Kidman) is an alluring rock singer who starts a romance with P.C., but as the romance blooms sport, friends and an upcoming championship become secondary.
