Lovia Gyarkye The Hollywood Reporter Paulsen, a writer of romantic comedies like About Fate and Holidate, has an intuitive sense of how to make you blush, wielding the power of close-ups to capture the longing gazes and subtle touches exchanged between Remi and Barnes. Jun 11, 2024 Full Review Casey Chong Casey's Movie Mania A charming Jenna Ortega leads the familiar but well-told teen romance. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 27, 2025 Full Review Hayley Croke Loud and Clear Reviews As far as rom-coms go, Winter Spring Summer or Fall does little to distinguish itself as particularly strong compared to other films within the genre...The film’s strength lies entirely in the performances of Ortega and Hynes White. Rated: 3/5 Dec 9, 2024 Full Review Brittany Patrice Witherspoon Pop Culture Reviews Paulsen does all she can to craft a memorable romantic drama, but it’s ultimately underwhelming and forgettable. Rated: 2.5/5 Jul 28, 2024 Full Review Abe Friedtanzer Awards Buzz Regardless of its unoriginality, this remains a compelling and fun watch, anchored by strong performances in what is described as a “Gen Z love story.” Rated: 7/10 Jul 27, 2024 Full Review David Gonzalez The Cinematic Reel Winter Spring Summer or Fall's title has a level of irony to it, as the film's pacing also suffers with a continuous narrative that drags making it feel as though we are stepping through four seasonal changes to complete the film. Mich L Super cute, I liked it Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/06/25 Full Review Audience Member While making it clear that it's a decent film and won't excel beyond that, it's fulfilling and entertaining. It boasts beautiful photography, intense moments, and a romanticism laden with sentimentality, yet truly enjoyable. Added to this is the efficient direction by its director, who perfectly captures those romantic moments between characters so that everything flows and becomes a love relationship between the viewer and the characters in a direct and precise manner. A movie for a weekend getaway. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/05/25 Full Review Sam A Maybe a 3.25, it’s like a modern combination of the before trilogy and Meg Ryan rom coms for gen z, without doing anything too extraordinary. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/02/25 Full Review Emily B Such an adorable and sweet little indie! I usually have an ick watching Jenna Ortega play normal characters because she gets annoying while speaking but in that movie she was amazing I was able to watch her with no issues and actually I loved her. She looked so cute and beautiful all the way through. Also she seemed very comfortable playing with Percy Hynes White, who on the other hand was spectacular as Barnes. He is indeed a boyfriend material. Those two should play in more movies together because their natural chemistry is one of it's kind. The physical touches, the flirting, the attraction btw the characters and the simple gaze play saved the movie. I also find it very different from other rom-coms, it focuses much more on Gen-Z's communication which can be seen very rarely. Gen-Z's don't have the best communication skills and they usually prefer to not speak at all. In that movie it's noticeable that characters talk mainly with their actions. I love it. Hats for Ortega and White and this beautiful Gen-Z romance. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/02/25 Full Review ThinkerBell N It's been a while since I've seen something so adorable. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/02/25 Full Review Kashtan I Reminds me of many rom-coms, but differs from them by the absence of vulgarity. they are just very sweet, I was very worried about their relationship, although I am not sure that they have a future, but they know how to listen to each other, this is rare Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/01/25 Full Review Read all reviews
