Coming of adult teen romances are Not my typical genre personally but, it felt like it was written from an experienced perspective as if the writer was reflecting on what they would’ve done if they were given a chance to be in the story. (If that makes sense.) Jenna Ortega was terrific as usual the lead male did a nice job also but I felt could’ve given the character more emotion (and dialogue) at certain parts. (But Maybe it was the way the director wanted him to be?) I would definitely recommend it to anyone who remembers what it was like to be young and in love and remembers the uncertainty of their futures at that age and time of their lives.
