Audience Member Sixth instalment delivers another new Will Spanner-now defence attorney and one who now chooses to drink scotch socially instead of vodka. Here, police call in supernatural expert Spanner to assist in the investigation of a series of ritualistic virgin killings (although none of the victims looks or dresses like a virgin). Certainly passable for anyone who dedicated themselves to the first five entries but a handful of scenes shatter any hint of credibility. Best parts could have been Debra Beatty's two gratuitous bath scenes. This is not as funny as the ones with Charles Solomon and despite the fact that this is supposed to have more nudity than any other in the series, I found myself getting a little bored. I'm not sure the producers of this instalment have been paying attention as they have Spanner as a divorce lawyer. He has previously been a defence attorney and dealt in insurance law. Jerry Spicer made one of the better Will Spanners amongst a mostly sorry acting lot.
