Jamie Rowan (Katharine Hepburn) is a widow who decides to do her patriotic duty by marrying military scientist Patrick Jamieson (Spencer Tracy). Having both been wounded by love in the past, the two agree to keep their relationship platonic, thereby reducing the risk of jealousy and all manner of other nasty, emotionally related by-products. However, as the two slowly get to know one another and life begins tossing them curve balls, they find that they can't help falling in love.

A bit different from the Tracy's repertoire, but still witty dialogue and acting. It's a fun rom com, but not one I plan to see again despite it being mildly enjoyable. Saw on TCM.

Fun little Tracey/Hepburn romantic comedy. Not their best, but still highly enjoyable. I think I was more fascinated by seeing a very young Keenan Wynn and Lucille Ball in supporting roles. And if you look fast, you can see Gloria Grahame as a cigarette girl in her second film appearance.
