jack o Very moving and very well-made. I like the low-key, unsensational approach to the subject matter. Is the story true? I don't know - but it doesn't matter. This film explores some interesting ideas and is emotionally resonant. I liked it a lot. One complaint: I feel the English subtitles could have been better translated - they suffer quite a bit from "translationese", i.e. sounding stilted and unnatural in the target language. The quiet, thoughtful approach, along with the authentic portrayal of Juan's sensitive soul convinced me the story was real and needs to be shared. Rated 4/5 Stars •  Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I may have liked this movie better if you could read the subtitlea which were often stacked on top of each other such as "Speaking in a foreign language" appearing over the actual subtitle or it was so light and small on a light background. Frustrating. So you miss half of the important dialogue in order to understand the movie.
