David Nusair Reel Film Reviews Woman Wanted eventually progresses into an increasingly tiresome and convoluted midsection... Rated: 1.5/4 Jun 3, 2022 Full Review Ann Ross Maclean's Magazine Woman Wanted, though a programme picture with no particular build-up, is much livelier entertainment than many more pretentious films. Oct 11, 2019 Full Review Raquel Stecher Out of the Past Woman Wanted is a light drama that is equal parts endearing and eccentric. Worth watching for the superb cast. Audience Member reel good B movie fare Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member A couple good leads are squandered on a bland film. Maureen O'Sullivan is wrongly accused of murder but escapes from the authorities on her way to jail and then set out with lawyer Joel McCrea to prove her innocence. The premiss is promising enough, but the film really meanders and isn't all that compelling. It's really only made watchable by O'Sullivan and McCrea.
