Denny S The Stooges very first short was a misfire, where they never really operated as a team and the focus was on Larry. The dialog was all done in rhyme (!) which became tiresome and annoying after a while. But the guys quickly regrouped, and their second short for Columbia "Punch Drunks" was one of their very best.
