Audience Member This film relies too heavily on gender stereotypes, however, the female lead plays a likable and intelligent woman. There are a few funny scenes. I used this movie to pick up some Mandarin vocabulary and to practice listening/reading comprehension. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member 2018-4-3 I didn't watch this again. Guess nobody would ;P Just found that you cannot type Chinese here, so came fixing the review I wrote 2 days ago 2018-4-1 I didn't know Zhou Xun would do this kind of movie XD Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member It's all fun until getting serious... just like women. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Rom-com with storyline like this have been done till death, which I completely agree. But it does takes one who truly understand the Asian culture to see how this is relevant to the Asian market and it's culture. While many calls it stereotyping, the movie is inspired by the "Everyone loves tender women" where every men dreams of having a hot girly girl girlfriend. While Zhou Xun's tomboyish performance doesn't suit her as much, her always husky, soft yet strong-will voice in narration successfully delivered all the hope and pain. And if you appreciate art and know of JuMing the sculptor, it will at least change your perception and angle to the movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Derivative but cute and funny =) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member mainland version of "Love in the Buff" Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Radheyan Simonpillai NOW Toronto Lessons on mastering the sexy #selfie are among the few delights in Women Who Flirt. That makes this energetic but derivative Chinese rom-com about as functional as a BuzzFeed list. Rated: 2/5 Nov 27, 2014 Full Review Anita Gates New York Times The film is exaggerated, ludicrous and simplistic. It shows a towering disdain for both men and women. Nov 26, 2014 Full Review Sheri Linden Los Angeles Times Hong Kong director and co-writer Pang Ho-Cheung sends up gender stereotypes and reinforces them in his contemporary yet not quite fresh confection, zeroing in on certain women's girlie wiles. Nov 25, 2014 Full Review Andrew Daley One Room With A View Women Who Flirt is a traditional rom-com that would be an incredible first film for an indie director - however it just feels like a half-hearted effort from Pang Ho-cheung.
