Empire Magazine Rated: 3/5 Jul 8, 2005 Full Review Tom Maurstad Dallas Morning News A gorgeous work of animation, juxtaposing photo-realistic backgrounds with surrealistic images and actions. It rewards the effort of seeing it on the big screen. Rated: B- Mar 31, 2005 Full Review Michael Booth Denver Post The writers leave us little to think about after they've created such blunt stereotypes of the bad and the good. Liam D A visually impressive and complex animated Sci-fi Thriller that isn't for everyone Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Late R With a story that not only feels all too familiar and like a lazy rehash of far better films about pollution and saving the planet, but is also full of plot holes and things that go completely unexplained, it's safe to say that 'Wonderful Days' doesn't lay the best foundation. Add to that the boring, bland characters who don't get anywhere near enough of a backstory to make us care about them, as well as animation that is not quite up to par with far too much unsightly CGI going on, and you have yourself a film that falls flat on its backside. With more time to develop the premise and a rewrite that fleshes out the story and characters - like, say, with a TV series -- perhaps it could have had something. As it is, it's a bit of a mess and is neither exciting nor meaningful. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/26/17 Full Review Audience Member You'll love it, or you'll hate it. For me, it's atmosphere just sucked me in. The visuals are so stunning they make me cry. And the best part is: it has a powerful message too! One of my favorites. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review troy k Nothing special, but it's not bad either. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing quality of animation, but the cliche story lets down this Korean production. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty good animated movie and it was nice to see that the place Shau spoke of with blues sky actually it was that same place he was all along it just need to be come that.
