In "World's Best," 12-year-old mathematics genius Prem Patel (Manny Magnus), in the midst of navigating the tumultuous hardships of adolescence, discovers his recently deceased father was a famous rapper and immediately sets out to pursue a career for himself as a rap superstar. While his actions may appear reckless and the quickest way for him to lose everything, Prem, empowered by imaginative hip-hop music-fueled fantasies where he performs with his father (Utkarsh Ambudkar), is determined to find out if hip-hop truly is in his DNA. As his father always used to say, "the world's best never rest."

Suresh performed in the aughts, but wears ’90s Timberlands and worships the ’80s hitmaker Doug E. Fresh. Maybe the whiz kid can calculate the rate at which nostalgia flattens time? Yet, the script is otherwise attuned to the emotional and comedic details

The story doesn’t have the extreme highs and lows of other coming-of-age films, but that just leads to a story that more closely resembles real life than most films in this genre.

World's Best was an amazing movie. I finished it just now and I really liked it. World's Best was a movie that was funny when it was funny. World's Best was a very interesting movie. It started off a bit cheesy, but then it became not cheesy at all. What a good movie. I give it a 76%.
