Audience Member Take this only for what it is, a movie in which the Yamakasi boys wanted to get violent, to look even cooler than when saving a little boy. The stunts are the starring attraction, and they deliver. A story that makes sense? Who needs that? Instead, have some over the top "look guys parkour is really cool". And as such a movie, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Even though the movie tries really hard to give all of the "fils" their own storyline, in the end it's just the running and jumping that matters. Watch Banlieue 13 afterwards for the perfect senseless parkour movie night. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member A disappointing sequel that has no links to the original. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Ignore the 'Bangkok Ninjas' title that has been added for the UK release, Sons Of The Wind - made back in 2004 - has the French Yamakasi 'parkour' group head to Bangkok to set up a training school for kiddies... alas they fall foul of the local triads, with a mixed-blood brother and sister caught in the middle of the power struggle. The story is mostly nonsense, but it facilitates endless action scenes which are exciting to watch and there's at least some attempt to make the characters three dimensional. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Don't see this movie because: why do the criminals pay so much attention to the tourists? why don't the tourists call the cops? why don't the cops do their job properly in the last scene? the tourists are individuals, but this is not good for the story. some parcours scenes aren't directed so well. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't like the idea behind the story, silly. But some movement are very incredible. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I watched the preview over and over before renting it and the preview looked so good. I had high hopes for this movie but was dissappointed. I had never seen or heard of the kind of game that they play, which by the way looks very dangerous. There were a few good parts that held my attention, but over all it was a big let down. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
