See more 11/07/2010 I can't fairly consider this in the same way as other "films" per se. It's more like a play that was filmed -- because that's exactly what it is. So normal film criticism is out, but I can say that the play is engaging, mystical, and a joy to watch. See more 03/09/2010 If you didn't know this was a play going in, that's your problem. This is still great. I really enjoyed it. I just wish Miike would make an actual movie adaptation of it. That would be beyond awesome.
