Ethan Gilsdorf Boston Globe Despite us tagging along the trail for days, we feel closer to the landscape than to the characters. Rated: 2/4 Jun 10, 2011 Full Review Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com Meticulously paced, methodical in the way it delivers its information, this film isn't so much scary as it is deeply disconcerting, everything moving towards a somewhat inevitable conclusion that had me nonetheless squirming. Rated: 3/4 Jun 3, 2011 Full Review G. Allen Johnson San Francisco Chronicle "Yellowbrickroad" is without personality. It's competently made, but the cast and direction are just bland. Rated: 1/4 Jun 2, 2011 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy What hurts the picture is its insistence on dragging The Wizard of Oz into its thematic DNA. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 14, 2022 Full Review Scott Weinberg TheHorrorShow A well-shot, multi-dimensional, and unexpectedly cerebral little horror story. Aug 24, 2015 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed A disturbing and unsettling bit of word to the wise that sometimes the unsolvable should remain unsolved... FAUSTO A Now this is a great film anybody else saying it's not are people that are more into films like Emilia Perez and consider it a master piece, the get scared whith movies like Megan Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/25 Full Review Adam S Had high hopes for this movie. But I found it boring with no sense of direction and no real feel of a ending to this film. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/07/24 Full Review Logan D Bunch of amateur filmmakers decide to investigate the trail on which an entire town either died or disappeared hiking. Boring methodical film with no sense of direction nor answers to it's premise. It's just bland. Not recommended. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/10/24 Full Review nick s The actors were reasonably capable for an Indie movie, and might have done even better with a less generic script. But I found the camera work and editing choices distracting. The story didn't seem to come to a meaningful resolution. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/07/24 Full Review Russ B This has nothing to do The Wizard Of Oz at all. The acting wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. It caught my attention but only because I was waiting for a hint of Wizard of Oz. But I wouldn't watch it again. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/06/24 Full Review Read all reviews
