07/09/2021 Sometimes it takes a movie to remind us what otherwise should be obvious. Cherish the small pleasures of life, keep breathing, keep living. 'Tu hai mera sunday' is a living testament to this philosophy showcased through charming, poignant and relatable stories of 5 friends living in Mumbai. See more 09/12/2020 Movies that are grounded in reality but still giving a glimpse of Utopia? Fee and far between. Sometimes it feels as if the dark times we are in has been ushered in by us fetishing the dark and evil on our screens. From the Joker in dark Knight to Anton Chigurh in NCFOM all the way through to Thanos in Endgame. But movies were not always like these. There was a time it used to tell simple tales...about the simple joys of life, such as playing football on a weekend, getting a second chance to put past missteps right with that girl next door, of winning over a crooked politician, not evil just crooked, so that you have that Oasis to yourself again....that's what this movie illustrates, in relatable, believable way, through protagonists who look and talk like real people. Brought a smile to my face, not too many movies do that any more. Sad we haven't seen the cast of this movie go onto bigger things. But perhaps that's a sign of the times, where Thanos is bigger and more celebrated than Captain America...... See more Read all reviews
