Alan S The dialogue is dreadful, the plot is thin to the point of transparency, people’s actions don’t make sense, it’s utterly ludicrous. Währenddessen erwartet die sich liebende Familie rund um Tochter Miranda Zuwachs und ihre Halbschwester kommt auch von der Uni Heim. Also nur natürlich das dieses Familienglück bis ans Ende ihrer Tage hält, oder? An sich ja, nur bringt Wade das Ende schneller als gedacht. You can't run forever geht ca. 102 Minuten und ist ab 16 Jahren freigegeben. Wir haben hier einen Thriller mit J.K. Simmons ist der Hauptrolle. Er spielt nen Dude der Leute killt, das wars. Auf der anderen Seite geht es um Miranda, die miese Daddy Probleme hat und noch ein zweites hinzu bekommt als ihr Stiefdaddy stirbt. Die Handlung ist überschaubarer als jede Wiese. Mädchen rennt durch Wald und zählt für ihr Mantra Sachen auf. Typ rennt durch Wald und killt für sein Mantra Leute ab. Dazwischen benehmen sich alle, besonders Miranda, einfach nur dumm. Ihr glaubt mir nicht? Ein Beispiel. Ein Killer ist hinter euch her, was macht man also im Idealfall? Natürlich, Kopfhörer rein und mit den wenigen Akku den man hat Spotify hören, wieso auch auf die Umgebung achten wenn BTS nen neuen Hit raus haut. Nahezu jede Figur benimmt sich nicht wie ein echter Mensch, die Story ist so dünn wie eine Tüte von McDonald's wenn der McRib rausgefallen ist und die Polizei, tja hat nur zwei Leute, wegen Sparmaßnahmen. J.K.Simmons ist der einzige der zumindest etwas mit ein bringt und überrascht, was er z.B. im Auto neben der Daddy Leiche macht hab ich nicht kommen sehen. Allerdings ist der Grund wieso er tut was er tut, maximal nicht zufriedenstellend. Am Ende bleibt ein Werk das bereits nach ca. 40 Minuten seine Spannung verliert, liegt halt daran das man nicht weiss was man erzählen soll und die Figuren keinerlei Persönlichkeit und Ausstrahlung haben. Von mir bekommt der Film 4/10 Punkten. Man hätte hier eine Satire wie God Bless America machen können nach den ersten 5 Minuten, entschied sich allerdings für etwas vergessenswertes. But soon one actually realizes that not even this great actor can make it worthwhile to continue watching. I couldn't even manage 15 minutes. 1/10 points! So he finds it very easy to kill but not this one particular person. His motivation seems off. His actions are the actions of what would be the most indiscriminate murderer of all time and yet it is played off as if he some kooky art teacher type of personality and is sometimes played for laughs.
