Most of these kinds of films are about the thrill of the chase, and nobody really cares why the killer is a killer. It’s only a shame that this particular example just isn’t quite as thrilling as it should be.

You Can't Run Forever is a nepotism project gone wrong. J.K. Simmons has the starring role as a serial killer in this ineptly made crime drama, directed by his wife and co-starring their daughter, with music composed by their son. It's a family fiasco.

In all honest after watching this movie. I hate it. The theme and setting works well plus having a good cast but when you're trying to make it a suspense movie having a killer kill random people off but make it in the dumbest ways possible is a pain, half of them didn't even move whenever he killed them! And how was he able to find the girl inside the forest??? Like how does that work. The only part the I genuinely like from the movie was when they killed him which was near the end! And this is what my dad said about this movie Pelicula. Fea

A decent, vulnerably gazed thriller without a tense grip amid minimally bland execution, with an underlying cautious edge how a temperamental trigger could turn a man onto a murderous rampage. (B-)

JK played again another great bad guy psycho. Alot of the scenes were more life like than most talking to his victims an getting off to pictures on phone ect ... Other parts like the deputy's really weren't in JK level. Actually played like 2 different movies. Cop stuff b rated at best. JK an Miranda Star quality definitely worth a watch If only to see JK at his best. Like I said some really quality scenes.

I liked this movie, but it could have been a bit better. JK is great as always and the shootings were good, but lacked substance in the mix. On a rainy day this would be a great movie to watch for free on Tubi.
