Most of these kinds of films are about the thrill of the chase, and nobody really cares why the killer is a killer. It’s only a shame that this particular example just isn’t quite as thrilling as it should be.

What a crap! It starts already very shitty and idiotic, but one hangs on as the movie has J.K.Simmons. But soon one actually realizes that not even this great actor can make it worthwhile to continue watching. I couldn't even manage 15 minutes. 1/10 points.

You cant run forever but you can run for an hour and a half of some very ham acting. So he finds it very easy to kill but not this one particular person. His motivation seems off. His actions are the actions of what would be the most indiscriminate murderer of all time and yet it is played off as if he some kooky art teacher type of personality and is sometimes played for laughs. Terrible. Very bizarre.

The movie had potential to be good but it’s so unrealistic the man stop, eating ,starting fires even the little girl had a head start who listen to music while a killer is chasing them in the woods and lol who keeps stoping for the killer to catch up. In addition why would a mother call the killer first instead of tracking her husband phone location to give to police unrealistic felt like a 12 year old produce the movie

You can't run forever, firstly the title suggests that he is after somebody who has been running from him. Well, I'm about to disappoint you, he is after nobody, he just kills people out of the blue. I mean if you gonna go around killing people, we need a reason as to why. Here? Nope, nothing. Just an old man killing people. He doesn't even have a target he just kills for no reason. I'm no genius, but it's dry. It's 1h movie but I watched it in 18 minutes. It's dry. There's nothing.

You Can't Run Forever is a generic horror-thriller with underlining Hallmark DNA. The only reason to watch this cereal box thriller is because of Mr. Simmons, who you can't take your eyes off of when he appears on the screen. He rises above the material he's given, and even though he's playing a serial killer, you catch yourself feeling bad for him, and that's not good. He's like the sweet endearing grandpa you want to hug, and as you feel tempted to embrace him, you know he's gonna detonate the bomb he has hidden under his shirt, so you try to stay away from him and not care, but he makes it hard because he's such a damn good actor.
