Tony Brown (Peter Lawford) is an extravagantly wealthy man who winds up in the hospital after a hunting injury. Financial contributions from Brown have helped to keep the medical center running, but his nurse, Katie McDermad (Jane Greer), refuses to give him special treatment, an attitude that intrigues the wounded playboy. Meanwhile her boyfriend, Dr. Jeff Chadwick (Gig Young), is keen on getting more donations and encourages her to flirt with Brown, a plan that works all too well.

Audience Member You for Me needed much more work to be an attractive feature. The cast has no chemistry together, and you don't care which man Jane Greer ends up with. Its attempts at humor are particularly lame, and it seems to get worse as the movie progresses. Should have been rewritten and recast, but we don't live in the best of worlds, so this is what we got. It isn't so hot. A definite second feature or 'B' film. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
