Some of the deadpan moments and more fraught exchanges don't really come off. But all in all, it's one curious, and furious, escapade. Go to Full Review

Even in its longueurs Young Bodies yields beauty and surprise, and there are inklings of some grand conception, even among scenes that feel haphazardly chosen ... Go to Full Review

Anarchic surface behaviors wear out their welcome in Andrew T. Betzer's intriguing but aimless debut feature. Go to Full Review

08/06/2015 Andrew T. Betzer's feature length cinematic debut is an intriguing and challenging film. After an accidental tragedy, their mother sends them away with a little money and a car. The film defies genre and is largely experimental in narration and editing. Betzer offers more questions than answers. There is no sentiment here or comedy. The film reminds me a bit of early work from Harmony Korine, but without the intention of shock or mock. This is a powerful film that seems stands alone and is constantly threatening to slip and fall into unforgiving waters. Potent stuff. There are some beautiful shots but as a whole it's a bit messy See more Read all reviews
