Bloody Disgusting

In terms of zombie fare, Yummy feels years behind the curve. It is, however, an irreverent crowd-pleaser full viscera, entrails, nudity, and a super fun title sequence that'll make you smile.

Don't be fooled by the silly title. This flick was really quite enjoyable. I loved the dark humour, the gorefest and the plethora of vivaciousness (it WAS set in a plastic surgery.....facility...?). To me, it was a lesson of "nice guys finish last." Wait, why is that topless lady, strapped to a guerney, wearing a lower-face mask? Is she in pain? Can she breathe? She isn't speaking. Maybe I should remove that mask....? Oops.

One very funny sight gag involving a penis. But overall the film tries to be too many things from funny to scary to dramatic and falls short of them all. Also the combination of both a foreign language with subtitles and English interspersed throughout the film gets old very quickly.
