Ramn Argenis U Los hombres de está película no aprenden y el inicio fue lindo pero otro ahh es mala y no vale la pena💩💩💩💩 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Feels like made for cable with a bunch of cliches. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/28/21 Full Review Audience Member The only redeemable thing in this entire movie is the weird appropriated dance in the final act. Everything else is a never-ending slog of unfunny jokes and tedious drama that unfortunately takes up most of the plot. I'd rather have a whole movie over "the Coop." The man deserves a Disney+ original series. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A lackluster film riddled with pacing issues, cheap dialogue ,and a convoluted plot. By the end it turns out to be quite charming thanks to Zendaya. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member this movie is good but can be corny at times which is obvious because it's a Disney channel movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I remember watching this movie when it first came out and thinking that it was an overall fun and okay movie.I watched it again today as an 18 year old and I found so many things wrong that I haven't noticed before.First things first all the characters are one-sided,especially when it comes to boys, and the whole plot is just based on stereotypes about how boys are 'gross' and 'immature'.The protagonist constantly refers to boys being similiar to dogs and just treats them like they are always wrong and inferior to girls. So if I had to describe the movie in one word it would be 'SEXIST'.Also, the plot was predictable and there wasnt really time spent neither on the development of the characters nor on the relationships between them(for example on the realtionship between the leading couple or between the family members). The protagonist was shallow, egoistical and self-centered,the 'villain' was a stereotypical dumb, blonde, mean girl who is over the top and at some point even commands people to bow at her...Like who the hell does that?As for the love interest,he was kind of the cliche loner type but he was probably the only one that didnt annoy me.I also found the scene where the step-dad fixed her music box cute. All in all I dont think zapped is a good movie, maybe the worst movie that disney chanell has ever made but to be fair I think that I am kind of hard on it now cause I am older and have higher criterias to find a movie good.Probably young kids are gonna like it and think it was overall a fun movie to watch. Jon Caramanica New York Times "Zapped," though, is a footnote, an old model in need of an upgrade. Sep 9, 2019 Full Review Emily Ashby Common Sense Media Zapped is entertaining enough, particularly for the younger crowd who will be drawn to it because of Disney megastar Zendaya's presence, but its messages are somewhat mixed for this age group.
