03/28/2020 Probably a good movie of its year 2011 but as we progress through the years we will noticed that the movie is Low Budget (Need Reference), Bad CGI and the story is Afraid of Losing Good Characters. See more 10/06/2015 I've worked with four people in this film, so I'm going to be cordial. :) See more 01/17/2015 The weird thing about this movie is that it's basically the last 20 minutes of Dawn of the Dead stretched out to feature length. There's a team of survivors and a team of bandits endlessly fighting over some supplies, and the zombies are just sort of an obstacle. It offers enough z-action, but the intro tells us that there are 10,000 zombies for every human on earth, so I was kind of expecting to see them more often. Then again, most of the headshots are presented with lousy CGI blood, and the makeup is as basic as you can get (Walking Dead) has really spoiled me on finding new ways to both design and kill zombies), so it's no big loss that we don't see them as often as human villains. It's not the worst zombie movie I've seen (that would probably be "Zombie Lake") and there are a few germs of interesting ideas here and there, but overall it's a pretty feebly made and acted story about a drifter who teams up with Fred Williamson's band of zombie apocalypse survivors. If there's been a real talent behind this story, like Robert Rodriguez, this film might have been a brilliant El Mariachi-style zombie flick.
