ZombieCON Vol. 1 is more about the joy of the ride, the inventive use of cosplaying to defeat the zombies and the camaraderie of the cast... It captures the essence of cosplaying with friends... the spicy side of it is its turn into a zombie frenzy film.

Helping ground the premise in the alt-authenticity of the cosplay realm are admirably convincing lead performances...It’s a fun lark overall, with plenty of realistic nerdy decor though director/co-writer Kyle Valle does struggle with pacing issues.

Why doesn’t any of this take place during the actual con??? An implication of having a full-on monster attack at the place of importance – a Horror Convention – is exactly what a quicky and jovial horror comedy should be with this title.
