Steve D Stupider than it is funny. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Vehicle or third rate Abbott and Costello duo Carney and Brown. A fgew laughs and a couple of shivers however Lugosi is probably the only reason for seeing this film. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Some fifth rate Abbot & Costello clone embarrassingly falter in this inept horror comedy complete with Lugosi as a mad scientist and zombie maker. The horror aspects of it are actually okay for their time and it does give Lugosi a good role where he typically brings his all. The rest of it could be considered worthless at best and racist and offensive at worst (if anyone were to take a movie called Zombies on Broadway seriously). Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member ZOMBIES ON BROADWAY (1944) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Plenty of laughs in this 1945 zombie comedy wherein two bumblers set out to find a genuine zombie for their nightclub. Bela Lugosi is great and the zombies are quite interesting... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Brown & Carney play as little more than second rate Abbott & Costello wannabes and they are even facing one of the superior duo's common adversaries, Sheldon Leonard. Lugosi does a good job but doesn't get enough screen time. The zombies are also a toss up depending on your tastes. Not amazing but funny and harmless.
