Blobbo X Unlikeliness abounds, but is relaxing fare for lazy Sunday afternoon. (Blobbo laugh when candlestick bounce off Allison Hayes zombie head.) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review Audience Member You have to feel for the deep sea divers in this movie. Sure, they have to deal with their boss, rich businessman George Harrison, but now to get the diamonds out of the wreck of a ship that sank sixty years ago, they have to deal with not only a curse, but the ship's undead zombie crew who must remain there until the curse is removed or the diamonds are destroyed. This is getting into some Return of the Curse of the Creature's Ghost-like shenanigans, right? Somehow, fate has decreed that I watch multiple Alison Hayes films as of late. Between Gunslinger, The Unearthly, The Crawling Hand and this movie, I really have come to enjoy seeing her show up. Marjorie Eaton — who was the physical actress who played Emperor Palpatine in the non-special editions — is also on hand. The prologue to this movie says, ‘In the darkness of an ancient world — on a shore that time has forgotten – there is a twilight zone between life and death. Here dwell those nameless creatures who are condemned to prowl the land eternally — the Walking Dead." That's right, this movie used Twilight Zone two years before Rod Serling and 46 years before the comic book. And wow, zombies sure got different a decade or so later. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Another of those cheesy early voodoo zombie movies, pretty boring in some scenes and extremely cheap and dull. The zombies themselves are pretty basic, no rotten corpses and not wanting to eat people, just kill them. I didnt notice the acting, but it certainly isnt for modern zombie and gore lovers. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Only fools are afraid of the grave. There are worse things. A group of diamond thieves head to Africa hoping to steal diamonds from a European ship that crashed some years ago. The thieves don't know the crew of the ship still resides in the waters protecting the diamonds. The residents of the African village are used to the zombies but the walking dead are new to our thieves. "Stop! You hit a man." "It's not a man. It's one of them." Edward Cahn, director of The Clown and the Kid, Incident in the Alley, Three Came to Kill, Vice Raid, Oklahoma Territory, The She-Creature, Girls in Prison, and Voodoo Woman, delivers Zombies of Mora Tau. The storyline for this picture is very interesting and it was interesting to see zombie killers rather than zombie man eaters. The acting was okay and the cast includes Gregg Palmer, Allison Hayes, Autumn Russell, and Joel Ashley. "I'm going to give you the only type of lesson you seem to understand." This was a movie that was recorded off Turner Classic Movie (TCM) instead of a movie that was scheduled to record (i.e. I DVR'd this film by accident). I actually found this film fairly entertaining and a surprisingly entertaining zombie picture. I definitely recommend this movie to fans of classic horror movies. "We all die in good time."
