See more 10/03/2016 I didn't expect much from "Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead" because of the title and the subject material of the story but the actually product gave me far, far less. While I've seen some amusing, entertaining and unique zombie films from Japan in the past, this one just was a mess. I'll forgive the bad acting because you can't have nuanced performances with a film like this but the barely intelligible story, terrible editing and really bad humor was really hard to overlook. Finally, the one thing that was impossible to forgive was the underlying and perverted sexist nature of this film. While the film will try to cover this up with the hero being a woman, there's no denying just how sleazy and slimy this film got with its handling of the female characters. Overall, I just found this movie to be a waste of time and something that was so bad that it was an exercise in futility to just try and find the motivation to make fun of it and make it something somewhat entertaining.
