Previous Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe The series is pat, and pushily pretty, and precious, too. I’m already looking forward to season 4. Feb 22, 2023 Full Review Carol Midgley Times (UK) The remake has had massive wellington boots to fill in the wake of the original, starring Christopher Timothy, Peter Davison and Robert Hardy, and it continues to do so beautifully. Sep 16, 2022 Full Review Rachel Wagner Hallmarkies Podcast A perfect show Nov 6, 2023 Full Review Adam Sweeting The Arts Desk Amid economic turmoil, political madness and a European war which might go nuclear at any moment, what could be more soothing than the easeful landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales, peopled with sheep, cattle and dogs and amusingly curmudgeonly farmers. 4/5 Oct 21, 2022 Full Review Alison Rowat The Herald (Scotland) Now on its third series, can you believe, and still as fresh as a newly laid egg. Previous Garrett E The heartwarming and bittersweet season 3 of ACGAS has some of the best character work so far especially for Callum Woodhouse's character Tristan. Another excellent season. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/24 Full Review Cassandra W I still see All Creatures Great and Small as Must-see TV. The plots still engage and the acting is superb. Good for all members of the family. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/20/23 Full Review Sandra R Beautiful and warm and soothing like a big hug Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/06/23 Full Review david N Simply a lovely series. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Alexander W I love these stories written by the original author. I also love the original series headed by one of Britain's best actors, Robert Hardy that ran in the 1970s. I realize that was almost two generations ago, so times have changed, but I found season three very unrealistic and overly soap opera (ish). and not as enjoyable as seasons 1 & 2. I hope next season they revert to the stories of the "real" James Herriot. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Denise S The writing in this programme is PERFECT! Please please don't change it and keep it coming. The acting is top class, one of the BEST series on tv. Looking forward to many more episodes.
