Sir T @RT91381273 Apr 5 In allen Punkten ein einziges Desaster. Aus kulinarischer Sicht, weil alles nur oberflächlich ist und der Zuschauer total verschaukelt wird. Allein bei die Betrachtung der Küche rollen sich mir die Fußnägel hoch. Holz befeuerte Herde die frei im Raum stehen, jedoch kein Abgasrohr besitzen. Einen Rauchabzug gibt es nicht, der Rauch müsste also in den Raum entweichen. Dennoch ist die Decke nach wie vor schön weiß. Einfach lächerlich. Zu keinem Zeitpunkt wird ein Gefühl fürs Kochen oder die Zutaten vermittelt. Das einzige was man bekommt, sind ein paar Bilder von schön, Desserts und Kuchen. Das ganze ist Woke bis zum abwinken. Alles wird verdreht und so dargestellt, wie man es gerne hätte. Offen und frei ausgelebte Homosexualität. Farbige in allen Positionen und Bevölkerungsschichten. Bitte politische Botschaften aus Serien heraushalten. Zeitgeschichtlich allerhöchstens an lose Fäden angeknüpft, der Rest ist völlig frei erfunden und dient lediglich der Handlung. Null Realbezug. The acting is superb, the entire cast is on fire and delivers a Sumptuous Aperitif, can't wait for the Main Entrée that season 2 will be! Original dialogues have the characters speak in modern teen fashion, and often lacks the flow and sound of the era and takes out from the immersion in the early 19th century. Careme really has everything you want in a great show - romance, intrigue, great acting, breathtaking cinematography, fantastic music, etc. PLUS mouthwatering food. I can't speak to the historical accuracy of the show, but it's consistently entertaining from start to finish. Like all of Apple's foreign language series, I watched it with subtitles, as dubbed shows leave me very cold. Even though I understand very little French, I can't imagine watching this with any other voices than those of the original actors. I rate Careme 8.8, putting it in my top 10 list of Apple's foreign language series. A great watch! See more Read all reviews
