Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) As an Italian spin-off from last year’s outrageously budgeted disappointment Citadel, this espionage thriller is a decent side piece. Oct 17, 2024 Full Review Ty'Kira Smalls Common Sense Media This series continues building the intricate (and at times convoluted) spy franchise. Apr 16, 2025 Full Review Johnny Loftus Decider Citadel: Diana carries over and adds to that show’s world-building, establishes its own international flavor, and maintains an urgency driven by Diana’s double agent intentions. Oct 14, 2024 Full Review Juan Pablo Russo EscribiendoCine Citadel: Diana is not just an extension of the spy universe; it's a deep exploration of the internal conflicts faced by those who live in the shadows of power and betrayal. Clay H If you enjoy the genre and stick with it for a few episodes, you’ll be drawn in. Good characters and good chemistry between the main characters. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/11/25 Full Review zazaza f it's a great story and i need season 2 ASAP Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/29/24 Full Review David M I loved the contrast of the beautiful old architecture and the ultra modern futuristic style. The female lead is excellent. Dare I say it… she’s almost a Bond or Bourne. Definitely as cool as Noomi Rapace from dragon tattoo. Stylish and super cool. The whole series is super stylish. It’s quite slow at some points but I didn’t mind that as the acting and production level is good. When the action does happen it’s full on. Watched it in Italian with english subtitles as I prefer to hear the actors true voices. All in all a very stylish series with a strong lead. I hope they make another series. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/24/24 Full Review Mark O I don't get the hate Citadel gets from the critics. I have enjoyed the original and Diana Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/24/24 Full Review Matt J I am baffled by the reviewers claiming this was worse than the original Citadel series. This at least has a plot, some idea of pacing and passable acting. It's infinitely more interesting in concept and frankly goes some way to saving the catastrophe that was the original Citadel series. While it was far from unpredictable, the whole plot wasn't telegraphed in the first 20 mins of episode 1 as it was in the original series. If you're new to citadel - Episode 1 of Series 1 of the original series is all you need to enjoy this and Honey Bunny. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/07/24 Full Review Edward F I liked Citadel much better. This one was ok. The acting was only ok. Story left a bit to be desired. I do like the effort to build a new universe to tell stories in. One of the biggest gripes people had was what was spent on the first Citadel. I don't care about how much is spent, I want acting and story. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/26/24 Full Review Read all reviews
