Like every procedural crime series of late, Minds is stocked with weary, overworked detective types. But here they also seem bored, bitter, and unengaged. Go to Full Review

In its second season, the show does get more sophisticated in terms of effects and makeup used to portray the crime scenes and the victims. Go to Full Review

The producers and writers deserve major kudos for developing a strategy for keeping the show on the air without dumbing it down, and the second season of "Criminal Minds" sets a higher bar for this type of network series. Go to Full Review

The characters have been fairly well developed and individualized, and the writers are doing a pretty solid job at keeping the stories and twists fresh - fresh compared to prior episodes and, more importantly, fresh compared to the other shows out there. Go to Full Review

Ff F @RT79040962 Jun 19 Watching Criminal Minds season 2 in 2025 on Disney+ feels like stepping into a different era of television. The show reflects how much simpler audiences used to be. By today’s standards, it wouldn’t survive. The first three episodes reveal a formulaic structure: a crime is introduced in the first two minutes, the team struggles with vague profiling in the middle, and everything wraps up hastily by the end. The quotes at the beginning and end of each episode feel overly dramatic and cheesy. The acting is often stiff, the storytelling heavily scripted, and the psychological methods are far from accurate. Still, I find myself continuing to watch, perhaps out of curiosity or as a way to study what once passed for peak crime drama. As flawed as it is, it’s a fascinating time capsule of early 2000s TV. See more 12/29/2021 Even with the lack of Elle, this show gives us Prentiss with the same amazing stories thanks to the group. See more 08/15/2021 Soooooo good. If you like to watch mysteries, crime and drama this is perfect for you + Matthew Gray Gubler hallelujah See more 07/03/2020 This show has great plots and sub plots throughout the episodes. It's a great crime show.
