Terra W So much about this show is different in the most wonderful way. The characters are compelling, the cases captivating, and the world laden with mystery, wonder, and horror. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/03/24 Full Review Audience Member I need this show to be renewed for ten seasons immediately. It is absolutely perfect in so many ways Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/03/24 Full Review Daniel T Bad Boy Detectives suffers from its casting choices, a couple of stand outs here but unfortunately none are the main cast. The main cast often over act and they feel out of place in the world that’s been built. I can’t help but feel with a stronger skilled main cast this could have been something truly amazing. I enjoyed the concept more than anything, the genre of gang vs super natural has a bit of a gap at the moment & I think Bad Boy Detectives is carried by its amazing cinematographer, sets & script. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/03/24 Full Review Joey J I need ten seasons like now. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/02/24 Full Review Heather O Loved this show so much it was a rollercoaster in the best way possible. as a queer neurodivergent teen I loved Edwin so much. Everything about this was just amazing and I will probably watch a million times over Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/02/24 Full Review tetsu l SPOILERS Que serie incrível!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/02/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) It’s bolshie fun for an adolescent audience, with a smidge of Doctor Who, although it’s not as good as Joe Cornish’s equally spectral Lockwood & Co, which Netflix cancelled after just one season. May 2, 2024 Full Review Valerie Anne Autostraddle Overall, the show is really fun. It has supernatural case-of-the-week style mysteries, plus overarching enemies to contend with. It has themes of loss and identity and trauma, all while being funny and irreverent in between its serious moments. May 1, 2024 Full Review Valerie Ettenhofer Inverse In some ways, Dead Boy Detectives is decidedly average, but it manages to rise above the teen-oriented genre competition thanks to its strong sense of imagination, style, and fun. Apr 29, 2024 Full Review Sam Huang Mediaversity Reviews Dead Boy Detectives portrays a wide range of LGBTQ experiences that can help queer people feel seen at any point on their journeys of self-discovery. Rated: B+ May 3, 2024 Full Review Alex Maidy JoBlo's Movie Network Dead Boy Detectives is a show you can casually watch and enjoy or pay close attention to for connections to a larger universe. Whichever route you take when you put this show on your television, I am pretty confident you will enjoy it. Rated: 7/10 May 3, 2024 Full Review Chris Revelle Pajiba As an entry in what appears to be a growing Sandman universe on Netflix, Dead Boy Detectives is an entertaining, if uneven procedural with some imaginative supernatural hijinks and an uncertain tone.
