100% 5 Reviews Tomatometer Samantha, a cheerful freelance journalist, and Jay, an up-and-coming chef from the city, throw both caution and money to the wind when they decide to convert a huge run-down country estate they inherited into a bed and breakfast -- only to find it's inhabited by the many spirits of deceased residents. The departed souls are a close-knit, eclectic group that includes a saucy Prohibition-era lounge singer, a pompous 1700's Militiaman, a '60s hippie fond of hallucinogens and an overly upbeat '80s scout troop leader. If the spirits were anxious about the commotion a renovation and B&B will create in their home, it's nothing compared to when they realize Samantha is the first live person who can see and hear them. Previous Max Gao AV Club After two seasons of sustaining this high-concept premise, the writers have found surprising ways to add new layers to the characters without wading into overly familiar territory. B+ Feb 14, 2024 Full Review Chris Revelle Pajiba It’s not reinventing the wheel, but Ghosts shows how far heart can go on a fizzy sitcom. Feb 21, 2024 Full Review Whitney Friedlander Paste Magazine I do like that a program as comfortable and familiar as this one can continue to make us think and grow. 9.3/10 Feb 19, 2024 Full Review Joel Keller Decider Ghosts has become a true ensemble show in its third season, and it starts its new season with an episode that shows just how much of a family the ghosts and the “livings” have become. Feb 16, 2024 Full Review Tania Hussain Collider Ghosts is still a smart comedy with solid laughs that strikes the perfect balance between pathos and humor. 7/10 Feb 12, 2024 Full Review Next
