Season five of the Max animated series Harley Quinn is full of wacky action, DC heroes and villains (both familiar and deep cuts), and, of course, plenty of sapphic shenanigans. Go to Full Review

Messes are rewarding to sort through. But this one politely tidies up once it’s over and leaves nothing behind. Go to Full Review

Harley Quinn features the perfect blend of DC Comics lore and vulgar comedy. At the same time, it’s progressive in its depiction of a queer couple and their struggles in the public eye. Go to Full Review

As Harley Quinn continues to prove in season five, you can introduce all sorts of insecurities, fears, and arguments into a fictional relationship without existentially threatening it at every turn. Go to Full Review

Season 5 of Harley Quinn keeps the hilarity coming at a rapid-fire clip, concocts a whole host of new misadventures for its main duo and expands on and strengthens Harley and Ivy’s love story in ways well worth shipping. Go to Full Review

While Harley Quinn may be swinging its bat of storytelling far too quickly, season five is still a genuinely good continuation to one of the best queer-oriented animated series airing right now. Go to Full Review

I was hyped for Brainiac’s arrival, but they really did him dirty—he deserved way more menace. The show went full chaotic mode, which sounds fun, but ends up diluting stakes and drama. Compared to earlier seasons, it just doesn’t hit the highs; moments that should feel epic land flat. As a DC fan, it’s still a guilty pleasure, but objectively? The writing’s sloppy and scattershot. They need to tighten up, focus on the story, and stop letting chaos run the show—there’s so much potential wasted. See more Kalissa H @kali_416 Aug 17 I really liked the Brainiac arc. Sad I am done with the series. See more trimetwes f Jul 1 5 seasons of this sinful freak show is absolutely unacceptable. I don't even wanna know the mind of someone who could possible like this.
