Devon Ivie New York Magazine/Vulture Partridge's narcissism, coupled with his general ineptitude and lack of basic social skills, may make him seem like an unlikable character, but his delusions of grandeur are actually quite endearing. Oct 24, 2018 Full Review IGN Staff IGN Movies Pinnacle Partridge occurred in 1997 when the man was at an all-time low. Oct 29, 2018 Full Review Chris Tilly IGN Movies A series that, somewhat ironically, revolved desperate efforts to re-launch his own TV career, it was comedy gold. Oct 24, 2018 Full Review Morgan Jeffery Digital Spy Despite his constant bumbling - both physical and verbal - Partridge remains baffingly likeable throughout the series. The Great John A One of the best comedic TV characters of all time Alan Partridge has garnered a legendary cult following ever since his debut nearly 30 years ago. With countless books, podcasts and shows he is the embodiment of the word "self entitled". I'm Alan Partridge however might be his best work as it has all the ingredients of a British comedy done right. Overall could not recommend any of his projects enough to everyone in this planet as he needs more attention to worldwide audiences! Grade: A+ Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
