Chris Joyce Movies and Munchies (YouTube) The interviews tell personal and intimate accounts, supported by tasteful recreations that help to reinforce and showcase what might have occurred. And the length is perfect, not puffing up the runtime with irrelevancies or repetition. Brian D 74%. 9/16/24. Sad how the woman gives her daughter up for adoption and then gets killed by her adopted father. You learn that the adopted father has a history of sexual assault and possible murders. The adopted mother sucks turning a blind eye to her husband. Very cool how the birth mom is determined to find out what happened to her and swears it was the husband and that he buried her in the backyard. Mother's intuition. Solid 2 episodes but not groundbreaking. 2/5 rewatch Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/18/24 Full Review Rebecca D Utterly compelling, heartbreaking, enraging study of a mother and daughter's bond. Even though they never met. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/16/24 Full Review Nancy D I don't normally watch these types of shows, but wow I could not stop watching. What a heartbreaking story, but amazing how so many worked hard to solve the case. I don't like how people are negatively commenting on Cathy here, she was the best part of this. She basically was the reason justice was served. She had every right to be angry and still be angry, what happened to her daughter was unbelievably tragic. She was only 16 when she had her and thought she would go to a better home. Shame on people for writing on here that she should chill, she has every right to feel the way she feels! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/16/24 Full Review Holly G An excellent documentary about a tragic story. I hope that, by sharing this story, we can prevent this from we’ve happening again. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/15/24 Full Review sofia g In the end, Cathy says she's still angry. I feel like she just doesn't realize that she's angry at herself. Great documentary. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/15/24 Full Review Audience Member This two part documentary is compleing. The twists keep you hooked.
